My theme for this year is architecture and to narrow it down: Friedrich Hundertwasser, architect, painter and environmentalist. His use of bright colours and fluid lines have attracted me for a long time, straight lines are "the tool of the devil". His work will keep me inspired for a long time.
Concrete and tarmac prevent water from infiltrating, the tree tenants helped to balance this by introducing foliage to the floors of a building. They purify the air and water and so pay for their rent.
Hand dyed fabrics. Raw edge applique, machine and hand stitched with hand embroidered foliage.
