Doors

My challenge for this year is using the photographs I took on holiday in Tunesia in portrait.

The doors were really eye catching, not only the colours but the shapes and sizes as well.

This Month March 2015 quilt.

Door in Sidi Bou Said

The little town famous for their white architecture and blue doors.

Hand dyed blue cotton, raw edge appliqued, Markel stick and Intense pencils for definition.

Hand stitched motives on the doors.

Machine and hand quilted. Pillow case binding, hand stitched.
