Doors

My challenge for this year is using the photographs I took on holiday in Tunesia in portrait.

The doors were really eye catching, not only the colours but the shapes and sizes as well.

This Month October 2015 quilt.

Door in Tozeur.

During our holiday in Tunesie we visited an underground village with cave dwellings, still occupied by Troglodytes.

This one is a hotel with hewn out steps up to room no.: 21. The steps have been made more secure with concrete.

Hand-dyed fabric, raw edge applique stitched down. I used pens and Inktense pencils for accents.

Machine quilted and finished with a pillowcase binding, hemstitched down.
