Family owned and operated,

Broadway National was founded in the garage of its founder William Paparella.

By utilizing the experience gained in the past 28 years, we have been building long-term partnerships with our customers by delivering WOW customer service & operational excellence.

William Paparella, at the age of 18, starts a neon sign shop in the garage of his house serving the local mom and pop stores.

William's parents, Dom and Marguerite, join the company as partners. Their financial investment enables the company to move from the garage to its first commercial location in Central Islip, NY. The company is formally incorporated as Broadway Neon Corporation, and expands into a wholesale neon fabrication shop. William's fiancé, now wife, Christine joins the team as neon gas filler.

1991 – 1992

Broadway Neon Corporation expands to become a full service sign manufacturer including channel letters, cabinet signs, vinyl graphics, and more. Gradually growing the team wins various maintenance contracts for accounts like P.C Richard & Sons, Liberty Travel, and Jiffy Lube. William personally attends all PC Richard construction meetings to gain experience and industry knowledge.
