On the Edge: I Was Here

Thinking of the theme "On the Edge" brought the idea of graffiti to mind.

Graffiti "artists" work under cover, do not use their name, only a "tag"

In spite of their, quite often very innovative paintings, what they do is illegal.

Techniques are : raw edge applique, stitched down.

I used hand dyed fabrics, accents with pens and pencils, letters stencilled on.

Machine quilted making it look like a brick wall.

A piece made for the CQ Challenge 2016 Theme: "On the Edge"
