I saw this quilt in a magazine back in 1979, tore out the page and kept it as the picture intriged me. At that time I did not even know the meaning of the word "quilt".Then in 1987 I joined a patchwork class, with the intention to make the quilt from the magazine.Although I learned the basic quiltmaking I also started to copy the quilt from the magazine. Only 20 years later I discovered that the design was from Deirdre Amsden.
Made from unsuitable fabrics, like curtain fabrics due to lack of cottons. Machine pieced and hand quilted.
Size: 200 x 120 cm.
